Falmouth Housing Trust Inc. is seeking applications for a detail-oriented part time Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director to support our mission of developing and maintaining affordable housing.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Falmouth Housing Trust welcomes applications from detail-oriented candidates for a part-time Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director. This position works 16 hours per week on-site at the Falmouth Housing Trust office, with 4 flexible approved hours per day between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm for 4 days a week (or potentially 3 days per week with approved hours and schedule).

Under the direction of the Executive Director, this position will perform a variety of basic clerical and administrative support functions. While the actual duties will be office support functions, this position will play an important role in supporting the mission of the Falmouth Housing Trust to develop and maintain affordable and attainable housing for Falmouth’s workforce.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Professional office experience preferred. Basic Computer and typing skills. Valid driver’s license. The successful candidate is attentive to detail and highly organized.

SALARY RANGE:
$22 to $25 per hour depending on qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Reception duties for office visitors and telephone
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Bank deposits.
  • Invoice tracking and coordination with FHT bookkeeper and CPA
  • Overseeing office supplies and equipment
  • Retrieving, Opening of Mail and organizing distribution
  • General Errands/Deliveries within Falmouth
  • Coordination with Website Manager and Computer Contractor
  • Assistance with management of One Chancery Lane building
  • Clerical assistance with annual monitoring of homes
  • Other general administrative/clerical duties as required by the Executive Director

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in professional administrative work preferred
  • Typing skills
  • Computer proficient in MS Word and Email
  • Computer experience with MS Excel and Power Point beneficial
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with affordable housing and the Falmouth community a plus
  • Driver’s License
