Sam Turner Road
On January 5, 2023, the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals approved for Falmouth Housing Trust to construct four (4) brand new affordable workforce homes on Sam Turner Road. The project is incorporated into the existing Esker Place subdivision, which was built in the 1990s. Development of the project was completed by the end of 2023. These four, 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom homes are 1,551 square feet and back up to open space. The homes are similar in design to the homes the Falmouth Housing Trust built on Lewis Neck Road.
The properties are subject to a permanent affordable deed restrictions and were sold to those whose income does not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). These houses were sold through a housing lottery. Applications were made available to the public in mid-August 2023. The Lottery was held in early November 2023.
Falmouth Housing Trust would like to thank the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals for their support in FHT’s mission to enhance the Falmouth community through developing and maintaining affordable workforce housing.
Falmouth Housing Trust welcomes public support to continue its work to create opportunities for families to own a home and be part of our community. The goal is to help ensure Falmouth remains a healthy, vibrant place for all of us to live.
